Many of the media reports have stated that Ben was in the choir at Southwell before being ‘discovered’ for The Choirboys, which is true. But what they don't make clear is that he remained a Southwell Chorister throughout (and after) the Choirboys, until he finally retired as treble in January due to his changing voice.
